TRACY
FREEMAN's BIOGRAPHY
Dr.
Freeman's desire to help children
with ASD and their families, coupled with her belief that parents
and future parents are the true guiding force of their child’s
health, have led her to develop a practice that empowers parents
in their own well-being and that of their children. |

As a physician and mother of a recovering autistic child, Dr.
Freeman has immersed herself into the world of Autism Spectrum
Disorders (ASD) and the interventions that alleviate its symptoms.
When her own son improved immediately with dietary interventions,
Dr. Freeman was swept into a world for which medical school did
not fully prepare her. Her education continued into the realms
of nutrition, allergy elimination, and detoxification among others.
It became clear that ASD is not simply a psychological disorder,
but a complex derangement of the gastrointestinal, immune, and
neurological systems triggered by an increasingly toxic environment.
As a result, she recognizes the importance of preparing a woman’s
body for conception in order to ensure a healthy, balanced start
for future babies. Dr. Freeman’s passion for understanding
and defeating autism opened the window that enabled her to gain
a holistic view of the body and its interrelationship with the
emotional and physical environments. The impact of this understanding
grants Dr. Freeman the ability to relate to patients as a whole
and guide them in their journey to wellness.
Dr. Freeman received her medical degree
from Howard University. She subsequently obtained her Masters
Degree in Public Health from The Johns Hopkins University. This
was followed by continuing education at the Montefiore Medical
Center of the Albert Einstein College of Medicine before transferring
to The University of Florida, Shands Jacksonville program to
be with her husband. Upon completing her residency, Dr. Freeman
became board certified in Internal Medicine. She then completed
both the Defeat Autism Now or DAN!’s physician training
and the continuing medical education at the University of Arizona
Program of Integrated Medicine. In addition Dr. Freeman stays
current by attending numerous conferences and seminars such as “Autism
One”, “Reversing
Autism”, and “Son-rise”.
