The foundation of our skincare philosophy is based on the concept of Holistic Health (addressing the whole person - body, mind, spirit and emotions). When treating your skin, we believe that achieving aesthetic beauty has to come from the inside out. Our philosophy also extends to respecting the environment which means that we use ORGANIC towels, sheets, blankets, spa gowns, head bands, cotton balls, cotton swabs, cotton gauze, soy candles & eco-friendly detergent for our laundry using energy star washer & dryer. In addition we use holeco® organic minerals, loose powder foundations brush with sun block deveoloped by Honi Borden, after each treatment to cover the entire facial area against the harmful effects of the UVA & UVB rays.
All of our Basic Element Facials (Metal, Wood, Water, Fire, Earth) are 90 minutes long & include either a fabulous "Facial Lymph Cleanse" or "Pressure Points Stimulation" with a full consultation. "Facial Lymph Cleanse" is a gentle, rhythmic style of massage that mimics the action of the lymphatic system employing repetitive strokes at a precise speed, rhythm and pressure. This technique helps with relieving stress and tension; stimulates sluggish immune system; remove stagnant fluids, waste and toxins from tissue increasing blood flow; relieve sinus pressure associated with allergies; speeds up healing and reduces swelling. The "Pressure Point Stimulation" is performed by using therapeutic grade essential oil blends (holeco® aroma oils) to apply pressure on reflex points of the face. This technique stimulates blood supply in the area by relaxing facial muscle tension to help soften facial expressions. We use Amythest BioMat on our treatment bed to enhance one's health by detoxing the lymph nodes and putting negative ions back in the body at no additional cost to our clients.
